Shipping Policy

Processing Time:

Orders are processed and dispatched within 3–5 business days and shipped via Canada Post. Processing times may be longer during busy periods, shop updates, or holidays.

Shipping Locations:

I ship internationally.

Estimated Delivery Times:

Delivery times are estimates provided by Canada Post and are not guaranteed.

  • Canada: 2–10 business days

  • United States: 5–14 business days

  • International: 7–30 business days

International orders may experience delays due to customs processing or local postal services. I am not responsible for delays caused by delivery services or customs.

Shipping Rates:

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and shipping method.

Tracked vs. Untracked Shipping:

Tracked shipping is optional but highly recommended.

If you choose untracked letter mail, please note:

  • No tracking number will be provided

  • I am unable to locate or replace orders once shipped

  • Joannie Studio is not responsible for lost or missing orders sent via untracked mail

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes:

Orders shipped outside of Canada may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import taxes depending on your country. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

If your order is delayed, it may be awaiting payment or pickup at your local customs office. Unpaid customs fees may result in the parcel being returned to me.

Lost, Returned, or Abandoned Orders:

If an order has not arrived 30 business days after dispatch, it may be considered lost or returned.

  • Lost orders may be refunded minus the original shipping cost

  • If an order is returned to me:

    • You may pay shipping again to have it resent, or

    • Receive a refund minus original shipping and a 10% restocking fee

Returns & Exchanges:

All sales are final.
If your order comes damaged, please do not accept the package and contact me right away with photos of the damage so I can help you.

Packaging:

I use mostly paper-based and recyclable packaging whenever possible:

  • Cardboard envelopes and boxes (recyclable)

  • Reused padded mailers for delicate orders

  • Tissue paper and paper bags for paper goods

  • Clear display bags made from plant-based, compostable PLA

Please reuse or recycle when possible.

Holiday Shipping:

During the holiday season, delivery delays are common, and shipping dates cannot be guaranteed. For peace of mind, I strongly recommend selecting tracked shipping at checkout.
